 Ryan Pack | Senior Pastor
Ryan became senior pastor in June of 2008. A native of Spartanburg, SC he has a BS in Business Management from Clemson University, a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership from Columbia International University. Ryan is married to Heather and is the proud father of three daughters, Bailey, Ginny & Victoria and one son, Micah. Ryan has a deep love for people and a passion to see lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. He enjoys working out, reading, working in the yard, and spending time with family and friends.

 Steve Briggs | Associate Pastor of Administration
Steve came to FBC in 1987. He holds a BS in Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill, a Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Masters in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Sandy were married in 1978. They have two children, Jay and Shelley, Steve recently gave up a "20 year church softball career" in favor of getting frustrated on the golf course. He loves sharing life with Sandy - especially if it involves food, friends and travel.

 Gordon Butler | Associate Pastor of Worship
Gordon was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He met Christi in college and they were married in 1998. Gordon holds a degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He began his ministry at First Baptist in January of 2006. Gordon and Christi enjoy spending time together, music, being outdoors, working with computers and being with friends and family.

 Justin McKinney | Associate Minister of Worship
Justin is originally from Palmetto, Florida. While attending The Baptist College of Florida he met his wife, Renee. They have one daughter Arin who was born in 2006. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. Justin enjoys good music, tennis, soccer, Drum Corps, and being wrapped around his little girl's finger.

 Dave Marshall | Associate Pastor of Discipleship & Evangelism
Dave came to FBC in May of 2010. A native of Meridian, MS, he has a BA in Humanities and a Minor in Business Administration from Belhaven College. He also has a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Wesley Biblical Seminary. He and his wife Susan have been married since 1991 and they have three sons: Jamie, Grayson and Brooks. Dave loves to tell the stories of people making disciples for Jesus Christ. He enjoys oil painting, listening to folk music, sports with his three boys, and enjoys time with friends and family.

 Marcy Wagstaff | Minister to Preschool & Children
Marcy came to FBC in May of 2000. She has a bachelor’s degree from Palm Beach Atlantic College and master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Marcy and her husband James were married in 1996 and have 2 sons, Noah and Nash. Marcy enjoys gardening, music, and photography.

 Yvette Haney | Associate Minister to Children
Yvette joined the staff at FBC in January of 2009 after 20 years with Buncombe County schools. She attended Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute. She and Jeff were married in 1978. They have 3 children and one grandson. Yvette enjoys spending her free time as a “Mimi” with her grandson (Oliver) and with other family and friends. She also enjoys hiking, swimming, working out, shopping, and going to craft shows.

 Cecilia Pace | W.E.E. School Director
Cecelia and her husband Dewey are natives to Hendersonville and have been members of First Baptist since 2004. They have three children, Mitchel, Shelbi and Avery. Cecelia graduated from Berea College in ’85 with a BA in Child Development. Since then the Lord has blessed her with many opportunities to minister to young children and their families. She has been with the WEE School since ’06.

 David Lewkowicz | Lead Student Minister
David joined the FBC staff on November 1, 2009. He was raised in Shelby and accepted Christ at age 16. He is married to Hendersonville native, DeLaina Blythe, and is a new dad to Zachary, born September 28. David has an Associate Degree in Religion and Church Ministries from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute, a Bachelor of Science in Religion and a Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty University. David has a deep passion to see students and leaders proclaim the Gospel of Jesus to the lost and be an example to all.

 Matt Bradley | Associate Minister to Students
Matt joined the FBC staff on March 7th 2009. He was raised in Hendersonville, NC and accepted Christ at the age of 14. He has an Associate Degree in Church Ministry/Religion from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute, B.A in Christian Studies and a Masters Of Christian Ministries from North Greenville University. He has been married to Beth Easler for 10 years and has two girls: Campbell (10/04), Callie (08/08). Matt has been serving in Student Ministry for 12 years and enjoys seeing students serve God and bring glory to His name.

 Rob Hefner | Crosswalk & Recreation Manager
Rob has been a member of FBC since 1961 and has been on staff since 2007. He and his wife, Susanne, have been married since 1979. Rob has a Bachelors Degree in Recreation and a passion for outreach.
